Skip having to drill a hole. These anchors save you time and effort by drilling their own holes. Their threads offer a stronger hold than our standard plug anchors to mount light fixtures, bulletin boards, and window blinds. They’re also easier to remove but leave a large hole behind.
To install, screw the anchor into your drywall until it’s flush with the surface. Then, thread a tapping screw through your component into the anchor and tighten. You can remove your component by unfastening the screw. However, frequently removing the screw will weaken the strength. To remove the anchor, easily back it out with a screwdriver.
